Dispenser (36.75 hours per week)

We have a vacancy for a dispenser in our busy GP surgery. Preferably qualified, the successful candidate must have a good level of education and be able to work well within a team environment and enjoy working with the general public.

Part-time Receptionist/Summariser

We are looking for someone to join our busy, hardworking surgery team for approximately 15 hours per week working in reception and also as a summariser. The 15 hours will be worked over 3 days and it is essential that you are flexible to cover colleague's annual/sick leave on other days of the week.

You should have a good level of education, basic IT skills, and enjoy working with the general public. Previous experience of medical reception would be an advantage although full training will be provided.

Healthcare Assistants

We have three phlebotomists/HCA; Ruth Wareham, Kate Chambers and Debbie Wilcox. Their job is to take blood samples for tests requested by the doctors or hospital consultants.  Phlebotomy clinics are held every morning from 8.20am –12.30am

Phlebotomists also do some of our in-house clinical testing, such as recording blood pressures and electrocardiograms (ECGs).
